Congratulations to Lindsay Nielsen, winner of the Thorpe Running Award at the MMA

TriQuest graduate Lindsay Nielsen was presented with the Thorpe Running Inspiration Award at the MMAs on November 14th. Lindsay became the first female leg amputee to complete an Ironman at IM Wisconsin this September.

Lindsay Nielsen was presented with the Thorpe Running Inspiration Award at the Minnesota Multisport Awards held at the University Club in St. Paul on November 14th. 

Nielsen became the first female leg amputee to complete an Ironman distance triathlon at IM Wisconsin this September.  Her story can be found in the latest edition of Midwest Events Magazine, now available for free at local running, cycling and triathlon stores.

Lorie Dixon Rookie of the Year nomination

In addition to others, 2003 TriQuest participant, Lorie Dixon was nominated for Rookie of the Year at the Minnesota Multi Sports Awards Banquet this past Sunday. Lori had a solid season finishing near the top in several Triathlons this past year.
